A resource for Jehovah's Witnesses who are "heterosexually challenged"
"The conclusion of the matter, everything having been
heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole
obligation of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13
"If anyone wants to come
after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and follow me
continually" Mark 8:34
Welcome!
The idea for this site arose from the
website "jwsupport", now offline.
Please follow the link at left to read
the 'Rationale' for this site.
This site is intended to promote, and not
to be a substitute for, regular association with the Christian Congregation at
your local Kingdom Hall.
The word "gay" has come by popular usage to
refer to a homosexual orientation. But the original dictionary meaning is "merry
or carefree".
Christians who struggle with a homosexual orientation
(or any longterm problem) may sometimes find it difficult to feel merry and
carefree - it can be easier to feel gloomy and careworn.
This site
provides a forum to help individuals to cope, and to feel a little more gay, in
the best and nicest and most proper sense.
Friendly discussion can take
place here, via the Discussion Forum. We hope this will be a helpful and
supportive place.
Any who seek to hold to what Jehovah's Witnesses
understand to be the Bible's standard on sexual matters are welcome to seek, and
provide, encouragement and support here.
Phil.
PLEASE NOTE: The
Discussion Forum, which is principally intended for Witnesses actively
associated with a congregation, is password-protected. If you wish to access it
please email Phil@witnesses.plus.com to request the
password. Thank you.
